Candidates ought to have integrity
Members of Parliament have complained of being overburdened by demands from their constituents. The demands range from attending funerals, funding wedding and baptism parties to paying school fees. The practice seems to stem from a misconception about the role of politicians, rooted in Uganda’s history.
