Q: Who owns GTV?
A: Gateway Broadcast Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gateway Communications and is the provider of the GTV satellite Direct To Home (DTH) TV service across sub-Saharan Africa. Gateway Communications is a leading satellite communications company serving African telecoms operators and corporations. GTV was created by Julian McIntyre, who helped to found Gateway nearly 15 years ago, so we benefit from a proven long-term commitment to the development of communications in Africa.

Amina Chifupa: Wazazi wake wajaa hou
Kifo cha aliyekuwa Mbunge wa Viti Maalimu kupitia Umoja wa Vijana wa CCM, marehemu Amina Chifupa, kimezidi kuzua mapya huku kikileta hofu kubwa katika familia yake. Baba mzazi wa marehemu Amina, Luteni Mstaafu Hamis Gabriel Chifupa, amesema anahofia usalama wa familia yake iwapo atatangaza majina ya watu aliotajiwa na mwanae kabla ya kifo chake kwamba wanahusika kwa njia moja ama nyingine na maradhi yake. ``Kabla hajafa alikuwa akitaja majina ya baadhi ya viongozi, wengine ninyi waandishi mmekwishawataja, lakini wengine bado, pamoja na hayo mimi siwezi kuwataja kwa kuhofia usalama wangu na familia yangu, naiachia Serikali ifanye kazi hiyo,`` akasema Mzee Chifupa. Akasema mwanae aliugua maradhi ya ajabu ambapo alikuwa akitaja majina ya baadhi ya viongozi kuwa ndio waliomsababishia tatizo la kuugua. Akasema katika kipindi hicho chote Amina alikuwa hali chakula chochote na ndipo walipobaini kuwa yalikuwa mambo ya kiswahili, hivyo ikabidi kumuhudumia kiswahili. Hata hivyo huduma hizo za kiswahili hazikufua dafu na ndipo walipoamua kumpeleka katika Hospitali Kuu ya Jeshi ya Lugalo. Mzee Chifupa akasema akiwa hospitalini Amina aliendelea kutamka maneno mengi mazito na ya ajabu yaliyoashiria kifo chake. ``Familia haiwezi kusema Serikali ichunguze, ila kama kuna mtu mwenye taarifa au anayejua mazingira ya kifo cha mwanangu anaweza kutoa taarifa serikalini ili wanaohusika wachukuliwe hatua,`` akasema. Amina Chifupa alifariki dunia Juni 26 mwaka huu katika Hospitali Kuu ya Jeshi Lugalo, alikokuwa akipatiwa matibabu.

To start the registration process, you are required to register by opening an Account. Click on the "Create Account" link on the right menu and fill in the required details. (TTCL Staff do not need to register, they can simply log in with their Active Directory Usernames and password.)
After opening the account, a user can log in using the registered email address and password. The login form can be found on the right menu.
Applicants are required to provide their Curriculum Vitae (CV) by providing appropriate information. Let the system guide you in every step! Once the CV has been completed, it can be saved and used for future applications. The CV may be up-dated, when necessary.
When vacancies are announced, the registered user can simply log back into the system as described above and select the required position plus additional information as specified under the vacancies form.
