Save the Children 2008 Screensaver
The Save the Children screensaver contains charming photos of smiling children from our 2009 Calendar…children who can look forward to a better life, thanks to your compassion and generosity.
As an added convenience, our screensaver is interactive. You can explore our website at any time by clicking on our logo in the bar at the bottom of the screen. The screensaver will start according to the screensaver settings on your computer. When you’re ready to resume working, click the Escape button to close the screensaver and access the icons on your desktop.
Installing the screensaver is easy:
1. Click here to install the Save the Children Supporter Screensaver
2. When the dialog box asking “Do you want to run or save this file?” appears, click "Run" to download.
3. When the dialog box stating “The publisher could not be verified.” appears, click “Run” to continue the download.
4. When the “Install: StC ScreenSaver 08” window appears, click “Install” to complete the installation.
5. After installation is complete you will be prompted to "open the screensaver control panel". Click yes to open and adjust settings.
6. The screensaver will be automatically chosen in your list of screensavers.
Instructions:
1. You can preview the screensaver by pressing the "Preview" button in your screensaver control panel.
2. In your screensaver control panel, you can also set the "wait" time for the screensaver to be activated.
3. While the screensaver is running, you will need to hit the “Escape” button on your keyboard to exit the screensaver.
4. When you click on the red bar in the lower left of the screensaver, a window will scroll up presenting you with the Latest News – pulled from the Save the Children Homepage if you are connected to the internet.
