Q: Who owns GTV?
A: Gateway Broadcast Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gateway Communications and is the provider of the GTV satellite Direct To Home (DTH) TV service across sub-Saharan Africa. Gateway Communications is a leading satellite communications company serving African telecoms operators and corporations. GTV was created by Julian McIntyre, who helped to found Gateway nearly 15 years ago, so we benefit from a proven long-term commitment to the development of communications in Africa.

A: By our very nature we are committed to making a positive contribution to local communities and helping to develop the media landscape. It’s part of what makes us different and key to fulfilling our vision. We are currently reviewing opportunities to invest in communities and media initiatives.
