UNION thrashed Annadil Burhani 낭 by nine wickets in the Twenty20 cricket league match at the Annadil Burhani ground in Dar es Salaam at the weekend.

Which is which? A little over a week ago (Saturday, April 26), we ran a front-page news report on apparently unsanctioned changes to street names in Dar es Salaam, accompanied by a front-page photograph of one particular name-post (at a junction along Upanga Street in Dar es Salaam) which was supposed to read `Kisutu Street`, but had somehow been replaced with the strange name of `Pramukh Swami` ? apparently without the consent or even knowledge of the city authorities. And as pictured by our roving photographer only yesterday, the situation is even more confusing at the other end of the street in question, in that there are actually TWO name-posts; one saying `Kisutu Street`, the other `Pramukh Swami Street`! Dar es Salaam City Council?are you there?
